They did exactly and they said and practically all my hand numbness went away after I installed them on my bike. I also got a set of the Specialized Comfort II grips and I like those too and prefer them to the Ergon. I can get my hands around the Comfort II better. I moved the Ergon grips on to my wife's bike and I know she has really been pleased with the results. I only wish the Comfort II came in a model that didn't required the locking bolt so I could install a set on my carbon bars. I had a set of the Ergon grips and really liked them.
